About Us
Lassiter Construction Company, founded by Glenn Lassiter in 1957, began with just one bulldozer doing various farm work and cow ponds. He was known in the area for the good quality work he did, good quality that has been shown over the years on hundreds of ponds and roads in central Alabama. Today, his son Allen Lassiter owns and runs the business. Allen grew up working with his dad in the business. He later graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Lassiter Construction has constructed ponds from half an acre to 200 acres. We have developed subdivisions such as Glynlakes, consisting of 20 uniquely designed ponds, in the Pike Road area. Glynlakes is an example of where we took the raw land from initial planning and designed stage, through the construction process, to the point of final sale to the retail customer. Lassiter Construction has worked on many commercial building sites as well. Whether it's a pond or a road, we strive to do the best quality work and take pride in the work we do.
